Puerto Rican successfully returns to the ring after eye injury
WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO, The Ring featherweight champion Amanda Serrano (47-2-1, 31 KO) won easily Stevie Morgan (14-2, 13 KO) in his first fight after injury.
Amanda dominated from the first minutes. Morgan, who turned professional only two years ago, lacked experience against the former undisputed world champion. At the 38th second of the second round, the referee stopped the fight after another series of punches from Serrano.
The Puerto Rican returned to the ring after an eye injury. In March, Amanda was unable to fight Nina Meinke in front of a home crowd in San Juan.
Serrano is preparing for a rematch with undisputed junior welterweight champion Katie Taylor. The fight is scheduled for November 15.
The Serrano vs. Morgan fight took place in Tampa, Florida. The main event was a fight between Jake Paul and Mike Perry.
