American, double Olympic triple jump champion Christian Taylor has ended his career, reports the press service of the International Association of Athletics Federations (World Athletics).
Taylor’s last career tournament was the Holloway Pro Classic in Gainesville, USA, where he finished fifth.
Taylor, 34, won the Olympic Games in 2012 and 2016, and has also won the World Championships four times (2011, 2015, 2017, 2019). Taylor owns the second-fastest time in triple jump history (18.21m), the record belongs to Britain’s Jonathan Edwards (18.29).
