The German club is reported to have no intention of paying the Brazilian’s 40 million euro release clause. However, the Bmelin are ready to pay 20-25 million and hope for constructive negotiations, since the player himself, according to available information, is interested in moving.
22-year-old Couto has been a City player since 2020. He was regularly loaned out – to Girona, Braga and back to Girona. In total, he spent three years with the Catalan team. In the 2023/24 season, he played 39 matches, scored two goals, and gave 10 assists.
