Further, based on the results of the rating vote, the club representatives identified two options for replacing the Dnipro team in the Ukrainian championship. The first was to provide a place in the UPL to Minaj. The second was to hold a transition tournament with the participation of four teams (Minaj, Metalist 1925, Left Bank and Epicenter). Eight UPL clubs voted for the first option, five clubs voted for the second option, and two more abstained.
Minai declared his readiness to replace Dnipro-1 in the UPL. The Transcarpathian team insisted on returning to the elite due to the majority of Premier League participants voting for this option.
The new season in the UPL starts on August 3. In the opening match, Veres will host Karpaty.
