50-year-old Alexander Laptiy was a theater and film actor in his everyday life
Alexander “Sey” Laptiya soldier of the 12th Special Forces Brigade “Azov” National Guard of Ukraine, played one of the main roles in the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: The Heart of Chernobyl.
In civilian life, Alexander was a theater and film actor. He joined Azov in 2023. During his military service, the 50-year-old actor managed to continue working on STALKER 2 after receiving permission from Azov’s commander, Colonel Denis “Radis” Prokopenko.
Laptiy played in a number of Ukrainian films and TV series, including “Zakhar Berkut”, “Cherkasy”, “Krepostnaya. Zhelannaya Lyubov” and others.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl will be released on September 5, 2024 on PC and Xbox. Pre-order is available at official website games, as well as through Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store, GOG, on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. The price of the regular edition is 895 UAH, Deluxe Edition – 1199 UAH, Ultimate Edition – 1599 UAH.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl was expected to be released in 2022, but due to the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, the plans were changed. Later, the release of the game was postponed to 2023, and then to the first quarter of 2024.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl will be a continuation of the STALKER series of games: Shadow of Chernobyl (2007), STALKER: Clear Sky (2008) and STALKER: Call of Pripyat (2009).
