Athletistic/Cycling. Russian cyclist Nikita Eskov has gone missing, the press service of the St. Petersburg search and rescue team “Lisa Allert” reports.

On July 5, 2024, while in St. Petersburg, Eskov drove off in a chocolate-colored Volkswagen Passat in an unknown direction. Since then, no information has been obtained about his fate.

Eskov, 41, is an international master of sports. Since 2002, he has been playing professionally for the Itera, Lokomotiv, Katyusha, Rusvelo and other teams. The cyclist has repeatedly become a winner and prize-winner of all-Russian and international competitions, and also participated in the prestigious stage races “Vuelta a España” and “Giro d’Italia”.
