Russian swimmer Alexander Zhigalov On , he spoke about what he does while serving a suspension for an anti-doping rule violation.

Earlier, the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) Anti-Doping Disciplinary Committee disqualified Zhigalov for two years. The athlete’s sample, which he collected on May 26, 2022, contained 5-methylhexane-2-amine (1,4-dimethylpentylamine). The swimmer’s suspension expired in May 2024.

— He opened his own swimming school, worked as a courier, cleaned clay, washed floors. There were different things. Worked as a model! “I did all sorts of things to earn money and train,” Zhigalov told .

These days Zhigalov is taking part in the Russian Cup final in Yekaterinburg.
