Ukrainians perform poorly in 10-meter shooting
Two Ukrainian shooters – Pavel Korostylev And Victor Bankin — failed to reach the finals of the singles in 10-meter pistol shooting Olympics 2024.
To enter the fight for medals, it was necessary to get into the top 8 according to the results of the qualification. Korostylev and Bankin scored 576 points, but this was not enough for successful selection – the Ukrainians took 12th and 11th places, respectively.
Korostylev will continue to compete at the 2024 Games, where he will take part in the high-speed pistol (25m) qualification. The qualifying competition is scheduled for Sunday, August 4.
The 2024 Summer Olympics will end on August 11. The competitions will feature 329 sets of medals in 32 sports. Ukraine is represented in Paris by 140 athletes in 23 sports – this is the smallest representation of the blue and yellow during the Olympics.
