Australian cyclist Grace Brown won gold in the women’s individual time trial at the 2024 Olympic Games.

The road cycling race took place in Paris and included many of the capital’s attractions. Its length was 32.4 kilometers. 35 athletes from 26 countries took part in the competition.

Ukrainian Yulia Biryukova failed to compete for high places. She finished in 27th place with a result of 44:43.73, more than five minutes behind the champion — Grace Brown from Australia. British Anna Henderson and American Chloe Dygert also won places on the podium in a tense battle with their competitors.

It should be noted that this was Brown’s second Olympics. Three years ago in Tokyo, the Australian stopped one step short of the podium – fourth place.
