American swimmer Husk wins 2024 Olympics 100m butterfly

Torrey beat Gretchen Walsh, who had previously broken her own Olympic record

American Torrey Husk became a champion Olympic Games 2024 in distance swimming 100 meters butterfly.

In the final competition, Torrey beat her compatriot by 0.04 seconds Gretchen Walsh.

The day before, in the semi-final swim, Gretchen set a new Olympic record for this distance – 55.30 secondsHowever, in the final competition she showed a result of 55.63 and lost to her rival by a fraction of a second.

The 2024 Summer Olympics will end on August 11. The competitions will feature 329 sets of awards in 32 sports. Ukraine is represented in Paris by 140 athletes in 23 sports – this is the smallest representation of the blue and yellow during the Olympics.
