Ukrainian prepares to undergo medical at Greek club on Monday
Ukrainian forward Brugge Roman Yaremchuk agreed with Olympiakos contract for four years.
The Greek club also agreed on a transfer with the Belgians. On Monday, the forward is due to undergo a medical examination at Olympiakos.
Trabzonspor had hoped to sign the Ukrainian until the last moment. Let us recall that the Turkish club was ready to pay 8 million euros for the Ukrainian forward, and to significantly increase Roman’s salary. However, Yaremchuk gave preference to the Olympiacos project, which became the winner of the Conference League last season.
Yaremchuk has a contract with Brugge until 2026. The Ukrainian spent the past season on loan at Valencia. Roman played 29 matches for the Spanish club, scoring four goals.
Olympiacos finished third in the Greek Super League. In the first round of the new season, the Piraeus team will meet Volos on August 17.
