Turkish club stops trying due to high cost of player
Trabzonspor refused to transfer the midfielder Dynamo Nikolay Shaparenko.
The Turkish club considered the Ukrainian among the main candidates to strengthen the midfield. Trabzonspor stopped trying to make a transfer due to the high cost of the player.
It was previously reported that Lazio is interested in the Dynamo midfielder. The Eagles are ready to offer 10 million euros for the player. The Ukrainian also contacted representatives of Besiktas, which has been working on Nikolai’s transfer since spring.
Last season, Nikolai played 26 matches for the club in all tournaments, scoring five goals and making eight assists. At Euro 2024, Shaparenko scored a goal and made an assist in the game against Slovakia (2:1).
