41-year-old German becomes four-time Olympic champion
On Olympic Games 2024 In Paris, a set of medals was awarded in the individual event in show jumping – the gold medal was won by a 41-year-old representative of Germany with a result of 21.80 Michael Jung.
Silver went to Australian Christopher Barton (22.40), bronze to Great Britain’s Laura Collett (23.10).
Jung became a four-time Olympic champion. He previously won two golds at the 2012 London Olympics (individual and team triathlon) and another gold at Rio 2016 (individual triathlon).
Today in Paris, a set of medals was already awarded in the team show jumping – Great Britain won gold.
The 2024 Summer Olympics will end on August 11. The competitions will feature 329 sets of awards in 32 sports. Ukraine is represented in Paris by 140 athletes in 23 sports – this is the smallest representation of the blue and yellow during the Olympics.
