Australian Olympic champion criticises living conditions at Paris Games

Living conditions in the Olympic Village in Paris are not conducive to achieving high results, said three-time Olympic swimming champion Ariarne Titmus.

At the 2024 Olympics, Titmus won gold in the 400m freestyle, clocking 3 minutes 57.49 seconds.

“It’s probably not the moment I’m capable of.” But living in the Olympic Village makes it difficult to perform. The conditions here are clearly not designed for high results,” she said according to the Daily Mail.

Titmus, 23, also won Tokyo Olympic gold in the 200m and 400m freestyle.

The Paris Olympics will last until August 11.
