Polina failed to qualify for the 1/8 finals
Ukrainian badminton player Polina Bugrova won the second match of Group G at Olympics 2024 in Paris.
Polina met with Teresa Shvabikova from the Czech Republic. The Ukrainian won the first game (21:19), lost the second game by the same score, and won the third game with a score of 21:18.
Bugrova is in second place in Group G and will not be able to reach the 1/8 finals. Let us recall that in the first match the Ukrainian lost to Gregoria Mariska Tunjang from Indonesia (0:2).
In the final match of the group, Tunzhang will face Shvabikova on July 31. The winner of the group will advance to the 1/8 finals.
The 2024 Summer Olympics will end on August 11. The competitions will feature 329 sets of awards in 32 sports. Ukraine is represented in Paris by 140 athletes in 23 sports – this is the smallest representation of the blue and yellow during the Olympics.
