Athletistic / Tennis. Another scandal occurred during the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. During the Olympic women’s singles tennis match between Ukrainian Elina Svitolina and American Jessica Pegula, fans unfurled flags with nationalist slogans.
Despite the ban by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Ukrainian fans carried a flag with the slogan of Ukrainian nationalists during the match. Note that it was included by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation in the list of extremists, so we will not publish it here.

According to the Olympic Charter, no form of political, religious or racial demonstration is permitted on Olympic sites. The IOC press service has not yet commented on the incident.
The match between Svitolina and Pegula ended with the Ukrainian winning in three sets with a score of 4:6, 6:1, 6:3. The tennis tournament of the 2024 Olympic Games in the French capital will end on August 4.
