On the eve of the 2024 Olympic Games on July 29, Cori Gauff reached the third round of the women’s singles, defeating Argentina’s Maria Carle with a score of 6:1, 6:1. Her next opponent will be Croatian Donna Vekic.
Note that Gauff at the 2024 Olympics is also competing in the women’s doubles (with Jessica Pegula) and mixed doubles (with Taylor Fritz).
