The WFTU has extended funding for the Baltic Sea Cup by providing 2 million rubles for a faster result than the winning one at the 2024 Olympics.

The All-Russian Swimming Federation (FSM) has extended to the Baltic Sea Cup a provision according to which the FSM will pay two million rubles to swimmers who cover the distance faster than the winner of the 2024 Olympics, VFTU President Vladimir Salnikov told .

Previously, this provision applied to the results of the participants in the Russian Cup final in Yekaterinburg. The Baltic Sea Cup will be held on August 1-2 in Kaliningrad.

“We have extended the arrangements for the Baltic Sea Cup,” Salnikov told .

The Olympic Games take place in Paris from July 26 to August 11.
