Alexander will not take part in today’s game
Defender of Kyiv Dynamo Alexander Tymchyk continues to recover from damage to the front thigh muscle.
As previously announced by the coach of the white-blues Alexander Shovkovskiy, the defender will also miss the second match with Partizan in the Champions League qualifiers. However, the player is expected to return to the general group after the meeting in Belgrade.
Dynamo has already arrived in Belgrade for the return match with Partizan. In total, the coach of the white-blues, Oleksandr Shovkovskiy, included 27 football players in the delegation for the match, including Taras Mikhavko and Matvey Ponomarenko, who played for the Ukrainian U-19 team at the 2024 European Youth Championship.
Dynamo defeated Partizan in the first match of the second qualifying round of the Champions League (6:2). Before the match, which took place in Lublin, Poland, the Kiev team refused all official events with the Serbian club, which had previously traveled to the “brotherly” tournament in Moscow.
The return match will take place tomorrow, July 31. The game will start at 21:00 Kyiv time. The match at the Partizan Arena will be held without spectators. The Romanian referee team headed by Marian Barbu will referee the match.
Dynamo’s next opponent in the League Path could be Scottish Rangers. The Kievans will play in the third qualifying round if they do not allow Partizan to perform a miracle in Belgrade.
