“According to the interlocutors, we understand that there are currently between 20 and 30 wars in the world. If the IOC listened to the complaints of all the teams, there would be no one at the Paris Olympics.
“Politicians can bring peace. Our job is to try to unite sportspeople,” Adams told the Daily Mail.

The Summer Olympics in the French capital began on July 26 and will last until August 11. Only 15 Russian athletes are participating in the 2024 Olympics, and all of them have the status of neutral individual athletes.
