Athletistic / Olympic Games. Legendary Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal commented on his final match of his career at the Olympic Games. On July 31, Rafa and Carlos Alcaraz failed to reach the semifinals of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris in doubles, losing 2:6 and 4:6 to Americans Rajeev Ram and Austin Krajicek.

“Was this my last match on the Philippe Chatrier court in my career? Maybe I don’t know yet, but I experienced unforgettable emotions. They supported me every second of my matches here.

“The Olympic stage is definitely over for me. I gave everything at the Paris Games to understand how much time I had left before the end of my career. Now I have to go home and calmly analyse the situation to see how much desire and strength I have left to continue,” Nadal told the Daily Express.

  • See it for yourself. Russia has announced a boycott of the Paris Olympics.

In singles at the Paris Olympics, Rafael Nadal lost to Serbian Novak Djokovic (1:6, 4:6) in the second round against the world’s second-ranked player.

Rafael Nadal is a two-time Olympic champion: he won gold in singles at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing (China) and, with Mark Lopez, won the men’s doubles at the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
