The President of the All-Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation (VFKhG) Irina Viner has indicated who could become her successor as head of the All-Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation. According to her, multiple world champion Olga Kapranova is perfect for this role.
“I think that in the future Kapranova will take over from me and will also be a very good leader of the WFHG,” Wiener said.
“I am glad that Irina Alexandrovna is in my life, that I fell into the hands of such a great coach when I was still a child,” Kapranova replied.

Four students of Irina Viner became Olympic champions. She is a Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation, Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Russian Federation (1997), and also a full holder of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland.
Olga Kapranova played for the Russian national team from 2003 to 2009. At the 2005 World Championships, she managed to win five gold medals. Note that she is currently a member of the WFHG executive committee.
Since February 2022, Russian gymnasts, by decision of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), are not allowed to participate in international competitions due to the events in Ukraine. Russia will not be represented in rhythmic gymnastics at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris (France)
