Slovak swimmer lost consciousness and was hospitalized after swimming at Paris Olympics

Slovak swimmer Tamara Potocka lost consciousness after a qualifying race at the Paris Olympics, Reuters reports.

On Friday, Pototskaya competed in the qualifying round in the 200-meter medley. The athlete was entered in the third round, where she finished seventh.

According to the source, after swimming, Pototskaya lost consciousness. The swimmer was taken out of the pool, doctors provided her with first aid, put on an oxygen mask and took her away on a stretcher. At the moment, the athlete has regained consciousness and is undergoing a medical examination.

The Olympic Games in the French capital will end on August 11.
