The Canadian Figure Skating Federation is disappointed with the decision to retain Russia’s bronze medal at the 2022 Olympic team tournament, but respects it.

Athletistic/ Figure skating. Today, August 2, the CAS heard the Canadian team’s appeal against the redistribution of results from the team tournament at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing. The court dismissed the appeal and left the bronze medals to Russia. Canada responded to the CAS decision.

– Skate Canada respects the CAS decision regarding the medal distribution for the team figure skating competitions at the 2022 Olympic Games. While we are disappointed that CAS did not award a bronze medal to Canada, we support the performance of our athletes,” Skate Canada said in a statement.

Recall that gold and silver went to the teams from the United States and Japan respectively.
