Athletistic / Trampoline jumping. The President of the Russian Trampoline Federation (RFBR) Nikolai Makarov spoke about the performance of the Russian athlete Angela Bladtseva at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris (France). Bladtseva showed the 5th result in the final of the tournament.

After the performance, the Russian woman, playing in a neutral status, started crying.

According to Makarov, the judges gave Bladtseva unfair marks. The official believes that they were politicized.

“Angela, of course, has lost her height. But the judgments here are incomprehensible. The judges are somehow politicized. Angela should have received higher marks, it’s just a shame. She could have been in the medals with her complexity of jumps,” Match TV quotes Makarov.

The gold medal in this discipline went to Britain’s Bryony Paige. She scored 56.480 points. Belarus’ Violetta Bardilovskaya finished second (56.060). Sofiane Mefo of Canada won the bronze medal. She scored 55.650 points.
