Athletistic/ Figure skating. Today, August 2, the Court of Arbitration for Sport heard Canada’s appeal against the redistribution of results from the 2022 Olympic team tournament. Canadians demanded that the Russian team be disqualified in the Kamila Valieva case and awarded bronze medals.
The court rejected Team Canada’s appeal. Thus, the Russian team kept the bronze medals. The gold and silver medals went to the United States and Japan, respectively.
Thus, Mark Kondratyuk, Anastasia Mishina and Alexander Gallyamov, as well as Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov will receive bronze medals at the 2022 Olympic Games.
