Morocco (4-0 over the USA) and Spain (3-0 over Japan) achieved easy victories. France, thanks to a goal from Mateta, triumphed minimally over Argentina (1-0), and Egypt beat Paraguay in a penalty shootout (5-4).
In the semi-finals, France will play Egypt (the game starts at 22:00 Kyiv time), and Morocco will play Spain (19:00). Both matches will take place on August 5.
The Ukrainian team, led by Ruslan Rotan, failed to pass the group stage, finishing in third place in Group B. It is noteworthy that the Moroccan team, which suffered a defeat from the blue-yellows in the group, made it to the semi-finals of the event.
