Lutoshkin and Yushina won the Europe-Asia Marathon in Yekaterinburg

St. Petersburg resident Artem Lutoshkin won the marathon as part of the Europe-Asia International Athletics Marathon in Yekaterinburg.

The athlete finished with a time of 2 hours 42 minutes 20 seconds. The top three also included Konstantin Usoltsev (2:44.17) and Viktor Chulkov (2:52.03).

In the women’s marathon, Antonina Yushina (3:00.46) celebrated victory, followed by Renata Yeldasheva (3:02.54) and Svetlana Kobeleva (3:25.41).

Previously, Andrei Yanovich, a representative of the Murmansk region, became the winner of the half-marathon, which is also in the standings of the Russian Cup. The athlete clocked 1 hour 6 minutes 46 seconds, ahead of Fedor Shutov (1:07.30) and Alexander Antonov (1:09.36).

In women at a similar distance, Elena Sedova from the Novosibirsk region celebrated the victory, she finished in 1 hour 17 minutes 21 seconds. Silver – Natalia Rudenko (1:17.53), bronze – Marina Reznichenko (1:18.57).
