Italian Mazzetti and Israeli Reveni win 2024 Olympic sailing windsurfing titles

Emma Wilson of Great Britain won bronze in this discipline for the second Olympics in a row

In the harbor Marcel The women’s and men’s finals took place Olympic Games 2024 in sailing in the IQFoil class (windsurfing).

The gold medals in their races were won by Marta Majetti from Italy and Tom Revengerepresentative of Israel.

In the women’s final, the Italian athlete managed to beat Israel’s Sharon Kantor and Emma Wilson of Great Britain, the bronze medalist of Tokyo 2020. Majetti brought Italy its second Olympic gold in this discipline in history.

In the men’s race, Reveny beat Australian Gray Morris and Dutchman Loek van Opzeland by a few seconds. Tom also became the second Israeli (after Gal Fridman, 2004) to win Olympic gold in windsurfing.

The 2024 Olympic Games will end on August 11. The competitions in Paris will feature 329 sets of medals in 32 sports.
