Athletistic/Judo. French judoka Teddy Riner has successfully completed the quarter-finals of the mixed team competition at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, beating South Korea’s Lee Yong-hwan.

Teddy Riner, three-time individual Olympic champion, represented France, while South Korea took to the mat not Kim Min-Jong (133.8 kg), but Lee Young Hwan (83 kg), who weighs almost 60 kg less than the Frenchman (141.5 kg). The fight lasted 1 minute 34 seconds and Riner won by ippon.

France beat South Korea 4-1.

The Paris Olympic Games take place from July 26 to August 11.
