Athletistic / Tennis. Former Russian tennis player Andrei Olkhovsky spoke about the victory of Serbian Novak Djokovic in the final of the Olympic Games in Paris (France). In the final of the singles tournament, Djokovic defeated Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.

The match ended with a score of 7:6 (7:3), 7:6 (7:2). Djokovic became an Olympic champion for the first time in his career.

“I am very happy for Djokovic! I was not sure that he would win, because Alcaraz is in very good shape now. But Novak played the match very cleanly. Sometimes, somewhere, it seemed that his leg was hurting, that somehow he was. I don’t feel good. He played superbly, cleanly, carefully, every ball. There are no words!

“Let’s leave the decision to retire to Djokovic. Who are we all to speak for Novak? Djokovic is Djokovic,” Olkhovsky was quoted as saying by “Championship.”
