U.S. Women’s Swimming Team won gold at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris in the medley relay in a world record time.

In the final round, the American team, which included Regan Smith , Lilly King , Gretchen Walsh And Torrey Shell showed a result of 3 minutes 49.63 seconds. The Americans managed to exceed their own feat, set in 2019 at the World Championships in Gwangju (South Korea), by 0.77 seconds.

Second place in the relay went to the Australian team (+3.48), which held the Olympic record since the 2020 Games in Tokyo. The leading trio was completed by the Chinese team (+3.60).

The Olympic Games in the French capital will end on August 11.
