Ukrainian athletes will compete for medals in three disciplines
On Monday, August 5th, Olympic Games 2024 20 sets of medals will be awarded in Paris.
Ukrainian athletes will compete for medals in the following disciplines: Pavel Korostylev (shooting), Oleg Verniayev, Ilya Kovtun (artistic gymnastics, parallel bars). Victoria Us (canoe slalom).
The Ukrainian team has won six medals so far and is in 17th place. Olha Kharlan won bronze in sabre fencing. Serhiy Kulish won silver in the 50-meter air rifle three-position shooting. The Ukrainian women’s team won gold in the team sabre fencing. Yaroslava Mahuchikh won gold in the high jump, and Iryna Gerashchenko won bronze. Mykhailo Kokhan also won bronze in the hammer throw.
