Ukrainian bids farewell to Catalan club fans
Attack Roma and the Ukrainian national team Artem Dovbik said goodbye to his previous club Girona.
“I want to thank Girona Football Club for trusting me and the fans for supporting the team in difficult times. This year has been a great adventure, and I am very proud to have become a small part of this story. A team with a big heart,” the Ukrainian wrote.
Dovbyk officially joined Roma in early August. Artem became the first Ukrainian in the history of the Wolves.
According to previously published information, the transfer cost Roma 32-33 million euros and 5-6 million in bonus payments. Girona will also receive a certain percentage from the resale of the Ukrainian.
The footballer’s contract is calculated until 2029. Artem’s annual salary will be three million euros, excluding bonuses.
Artem became the top scorer in La Liga with 24 goals, also making 10 assists, and Girona sensationally finished in the top 3 and qualified for the Champions League for the first time in history.
