“They are doing well without us in competitions. The United States is doing everything possible to ensure that we do not participate in the next Winter Olympics,” Tarasova said in an interview with TASS.
She also noted that after each competition, an anti-doping control is conducted by the ISU, practically on skates. “If there was something, they would have found out immediately,” Tarasova added.
Earlier it became known that the United States is preparing a new campaign aimed at discrediting Russian sports. According to Russian foreign intelligence services, the United States plans to discredit sports in which Russian athletes traditionally achieve good results, such as rhythmic gymnastics, synchronized swimming and figure skating.
