Athletistic/Figure skating. Honored figure skating coach of the USSR Tatyana Tarasova, in an interview with Match TV, said that doping is not used in Russian figure skating and the United States will not be able to discredit this sport.

On Monday, the press service of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service reported that the United States was preparing a series of publications on alleged doping violations in Russian sports, focusing on sports where Russia is traditionally strong – rhythmic gymnastics, synchronized swimming and figure skating.

“There is no doping in Russian figure skating. I can’t imagine who in our country could use illegal drugs. After the competition, our skaters undergo doping control, and no questions were asked. The United States is just trying to steal from us in the disciplines where we are stronger. Let them try, they won’t be able to discredit our sport,” Tarasova told Match TV.
