Italy National Team won the Olympic gold in the mixed team tournament Olympic Games 2024 in clay pigeon shooting in the discipline hermitage.
In the final, Diana Bakosi and Gabriele Rossetti defeated the duo from the USA – 45:44.
It should be noted that the silver medalists had previously won medals at Paris 2024. Vincent Hancock won gold in men’s skeet (and did so for the second Olympics in a row), and Austin Jewell Smith came in third in the women’s final, where Ukrainian Irina Malovichko failed to qualify.
The bronze medals in the team mixed event went to the Chinese team (Yan Yuting and Liu Yanlin), who beat their rivals from India in the medal match – 44:43.
The 2024 Summer Olympics will end on August 11. The competitions will feature 329 sets of awards in 32 sports. Ukraine is represented in Paris by 140 athletes in 23 sports – this is the smallest representation of the blue and yellow during the Olympics.
