Athletistic / Others. Russian law enforcement agencies have placed the former deputy head of the Moscow Anti-Doping Laboratory Timofey Sobolevsky on the wanted list. The investigation believes that he may be linked to the case of manipulation of databases of Russian athletes.
“Sobolevsky may be put on the wanted list in a case related to the manipulation of databases of Russian athletes,” his interlocutor said, according to TASS.
The Investigative Committee (IC of the Russian Federation) has opened a criminal case against Sobolevsky under Part 2 of Art. 294 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (obstruction of an objective investigation). Note that the person involved in this case is also the former head of the Moscow anti-doping laboratory, Grigory Rodchenkov. Rodchenkov was arrested in absentia and placed on the international wanted list in September 2017. Note that under this criminal article, they face a fine or arrest for up to six months.

It is worth noting that a few hours earlier, the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) accused the United States of trying to discredit Russian sports. The SVR believes that the main contribution to the upcoming injections should be made by Rodchenkov and Sobolevsky.
