British track and field athlete Keeley Hodgkinson became a champion Olympics 2024 in Paris in distance running 800 meters.
Having run the distance in 1:56.72, the champion was less than half a second ahead of Tsige Duguma of Ethiopia, who also showed her best result of her career. Kenyan Mary Moraa came in third.
Three years ago in Tokyo, Hodgkinson won silver in this distance, losing to American Ating Mu.
