Tokyo 2020 champions US women’s team had to settle for bronze
The finals of the tournaments were held in Paris 3×3 basketball within the framework Olympic Games 2024. The women’s team won the Olympic gold Germany and the men’s team Netherlands.
The Germans beat their rivals from Spain in the final match – 17:16. The 2020 Tokyo champions, the US team, take home bronze medals from Paris thanks to a victory in the match for third place over Canada – 16:13.
In the men’s final between the French and the Dutch, the winners had to be determined in overtime. In the end, the Oranje team was able to win gold. The bronze medals in the Baltic confrontation with Latvia were won by the basketball players from Lithuania.
The 2024 Summer Olympics will end on August 11. The competitions will feature 329 sets of awards in 32 sports. Ukraine is represented in Paris by 140 athletes in 23 sports – this is the smallest representation of the blue and yellow during the Olympics.
