A repeated meeting of the disciplinary commission of the All-Russian Volleyball Federation confirmed the sanctions against the Dynamo Moscow volleyball player. Natalia Goncharova reports the club’s press service.

— On July 26, a second meeting of the VFW disciplinary commission was held on the issue of sanctions previously imposed on the captain of our team, Natalia Goncharova. This time, Natalia herself and the general director of Dynamo Moscow Vladimir Zinichev were invited to the meeting.

Following the review, the commission unanimously decided to maintain the previous decision in force. All arguments on our part and indications of violations of the VFW regulations and the regulations of the disciplinary commission by the members of the commission were considered insignificant.

During the discussion, the DC members stated that they did not consider it necessary to indicate in the minutes what served as the basis for considering the case, they were not obliged to disclose their sources of information, that the DC would include in the minutes of the meeting exactly what it considered necessary to include. However, after 10 days, no information about the new meeting was received from the VFW Palace of Culture, we did not receive the protocol,” the Dynamo press service said in a statement.

Dynamo Moscow extended Goncharova’s contract for the 2024/25 season in July. For the 35-year-old, this will be the seventeenth season in the “blue and white” team.
