Vladimir admits that Dynamo made a fatal mistake at the end of the match
Kyiv midfielder Dynamo Vladimir Brazhko commented on the draw with Rangers (1:1) in the first match of the third qualifying round Champions League 2024/25.
“It was a very interesting game and a good opponent. Of course, it’s sad that we missed a goal at the last second. The goal was missed as a result of a series of mistakes. We were unlucky in some places. But I’m sure the second match will be interesting. Let’s see what happens in Glasgow. We’ll prepare.”
“I want to thank the fans who supported us here at the stadium, as well as those who supported us watching the match on TV in Ukraine! It is very sad that we were not able to please them with a victory. We will do everything possible to advance to the next round on aggregate.”
“Maxim Dyachuk is a very big loss, because he is a very good player. I want to wish him a speedy recovery. We all support him, you could say, keep him in good shape. Taras Mihavko is also great, he can only be praised. Yes, there were mistakes, but we all make mistakes. Everything will be fine, he will get through everything.”
Andriy Yarmolenko scored for the Kyiv club, while Cyril Dessers scored for the Scots. The return match will be held in Glasgow on August 13.
If the Kyivans beat Rangers, they will face the winner of the Salzburg-Twente match in the playoff round for a place in the overall stage. Oleksandr Shovkovskiy’s team is competing in the League Path.
