The 19-year-old midfielder won the 2024 Copa America as part of the Argentina national team in the summer
Inter announced the loan of its midfielder Valentina Carboni V Marseilles.
The loan is calculated until the end of the 2024/25 season, Marseille will have an option to buy the 19-year-old player’s contract. At the same time, Inter also included an option for Carboni’s return transfer in the contract.
Carboni excelled last season while on loan at Monza, where he played 31 matches in Serie A (recording two goals and three assists).
Carboni also won the 2024 Copa America with Argentina this summer. He played in one match at the tournament, coming on as a substitute in the group stage game against Peru (2-0).
This transfer window, Marseille have already signed Manchester United winger Mason Greenwood and signed Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg on loan.
Marseille finished eighth in Ligue 1 at the end of the 2023/24 campaign. The Provencal team, which was taken over by former Shakhtar coach Roberto De Zerbi in the summer, will open the new season in the French championship with a match against Brest.
