US Women’s Track Cycling Team Wins 2024 Olympic Pursuit

In a fierce battle, the Americans beat New Zealand, and Great Britain took bronze

US Women’s National Team became the winner team pursuit race V velodrome on Olympic Games 2024.

Following the men’s final, where the Australian team celebrated its triumph, the women’s final also took place. In the “gold” race, four Americans (Chloe Dygert, Lily Williams, Kristen Faulkner and Jennifer Valent) managed to beat the team from New Zealand by 0.621 seconds.

Daiget and Valent collected the entire set of Olympic medals in the pursuit race. Previously, they both became silver medalists in this discipline at Rio 2016 and bronze at Tokyo 2020. Williams also joined them in the capital of Japan.

The British team won bronze at Paris 2024 against their Italian rivals. Earlier, the Great Britain team celebrated success in the women’s team track cycling sprint at the 2024 Olympics.

The 2024 Summer Olympics will end on August 11. The competitions will feature 329 sets of awards in 32 sports. Ukraine is represented in Paris by 140 athletes in 23 sports – this is the smallest representation of the blue and yellow during the Olympics.
