Panipak wins second consecutive Olympic gold and third award in three Olympic Games
In Paris, as part of Olympic Games 2024 two tournaments have ended taekwondo — male in the category up to 58 kilograms And female in weight up to 49 kg.
The Olympic champions were, accordingly, the South Koreans Park Tae Joon And Panipak Wongpattanakit from Thailand.
The Asian athlete won a confident victory over Azerbaijani Gashiy Magomedov in the final. Frenchman Syrian Rave and Tunisian Mohamed Khalil Zhendoubi managed to win bronze medals in this category.
Wongpattanakit, having defeated Chinese Guo Qin in a tough fight, won her second consecutive gold and third Olympic medal in her career.
