Athletistic/Figure skating. American figure skater Nathan Chen commented on the gold medal ceremony for the 2022 Olympic team tournament, which took place today at the 2024 Games in Paris. The American team received gold medals after places were reallocated due to Kamila Valieva’s suspension, while Japanese skaters received silver medals. Russian athletes were not invited to the ceremony.
“I am happy that we and the Japanese received medals, because it is important that people get what they deserve for their work. I am not focused on the absence of the Russians at the ceremony. I cannot worry about what is not under my control,” Chen said, as reported by Sport24.
