Italians Tita and Banti win gold in mixed multihull events at 2024 Olympics

Argentine duo wins silver, New Zealand crew wins bronze

Italian duet Ruggero Tita and Caterina Banti won the gold of the competition mixed crews of multihull vessels in sailing on Olympics 2024.

The Italians dominated a significant number of heats, winning six of the 13 races. In the final medal race, Tita and Banti finished second, securing them gold at the 2024 Olympics.

The silver medals were won by the duo Mateo Majdalani / Eugenia Bosco from Argentina. The bronze medals were won by the New Zealand crew Mika Wilkinson / Erica Dawson.

The 2024 Summer Olympics will end on August 11. The competitions will feature 329 sets of awards in 32 sports. Ukraine is represented in Paris by 140 athletes in 23 sports – this is the smallest representation of the blue and yellow during the Olympics.
