American Davis-Woodhall wins long jump gold at 2024 Olympics

Germany’s Malaika Mihambo won the silver medal, while the United States’ Jasmine Moore won the bronze.

American track and field athlete Tara Davis-Woodhall won gold in long jump on Olympic Games 2024.

Tara managed to jump more than seven meters in her second attempt. None of her rivals managed to overcome this mark. In her fourth attempt, Davis-Woodhall jumped 7.10 m, which was the best result of the final.

Germany’s Malaika Mihambo won the silver medal, while Jasmine Moore of the United States, who had previously stood on the podium in the triple jump, won her second bronze at the 2024 Olympics.

The 2024 Summer Olympics will end on August 11. The competitions will feature 329 sets of medals in 32 sports. Ukraine will be represented in Paris by 140 athletes in 23 sports – this is the smallest representation of the blue and yellow during the Olympics.
