Athletistic/OI-2024. Canoeist Zakhar Petrov remains the only Russian still competing for medals at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
On August 8, the Russian team of Zakhar Petrov and Alexey Korovashkov took fourth place in the final of the 500-meter canoe pair. Earlier, Olesya Romasenko, who competed in the 200-meter canoe single, failed to reach the semifinals.
Petrov will now continue to compete in the semi-finals of the single canoe over a distance of 1000 metres.
