Today, the Ukrainian will take part in the final of the individual all-around in rhythmic gymnastics at the 2024 Olympic Games
Ukrainian Taisiya Onofriychuk commented on her entry into the final individual all-around in rhythmic gymnastics on Olympic Games 2024.
“I think the Olympics are the most important competition. I thought I would be very nervous, but strangely enough, I was less nervous at these competitions than at previous competitions. I am happy because I made it to the finals. When I first started doing gymnastics, I thought about how to get into the Ukrainian national team. I realized that everyone there is at their best, all the girls are doing something unreal.”
“We are preparing for the final very carefully, to perform much better, to be irresistible. I will work a little more and then recover.”
Taisiya showed the fourth result in the qualification, scoring 135.750 points. Onofriychuk performed best in the exercises with the ball (second place), while the performance with the hoop brought her only the fifth result.
Italian Sofia Raffaeli won the qualification. The final of the competition will be held today, August 9.
The 2024 Summer Olympics will end on August 11. The competitions will feature 329 sets of awards in 32 sports. Ukraine is represented in Paris by 140 athletes in 23 sports – this is the smallest representation of the blue and yellow during the Olympics.
